My favorite childhood memory: my dad making a 1/2 baked potato into an ice cream cone to get me to eat it.

  2. Patty McArdle says:

My favorite childhood memory is riding my bike all day with friends. There were 6 kids in my family so Mom would send us out outdoors in the morning and we would not be home until dinner time. Once dinner was finished we were back outside until the streetlights came on. A great time growing up!

  3. Virginia Wentworth says:

My favorite childhood memory of Christmas was eating keilbasy, pierogi and “Grammy’s cookies” – all of which we did today with the second, third and even fourth generations. My parents would be so happy and proud!

  4. Amy Dusseault says:

My favorite memory is when I was very young we moved from Michigan to Texas. On the trip down we had financial and vehicle troubles. (We were basically homeless) Police officers stopped to investigate why we were camped out on the side of the road… After learning of our plight they put us up in a hotel, bought us food, helped our parents get jobs cleaning at an entertainment arena, and then babysat my siblings and I each night for a week until mom and dad received their first paychecks. All at their own expense. To me it was an adventure, but now as an adult, the enormity of their generosity just amazes me. ❤️
