  1. When I was in the 2nd grade my mom helped me sew a brown gathered skirt. First sewing project.

    The sewing project that I made was in Home Eco and it was draw string gym bag. Before that it was doll clothes for all of my trolls, no sewing was required.

    My first project was a skirt in Home economic in 1950.i did Ware it.

    My mom began teaching me basics when i was in grade school, but the first project I recall making from start to finish is a wild, red and blue floral pant and crop top in the 7th grade. I thought it was so cool!

    my first project was a short sleeveless jumpsuit with a front zipper made in school back in the early 70’s. And i wasn’t too embarassed to actually wear it!
