The Hyacinth Bag was my offering for the Bag of the Month Club for 2015, and I finally got around to releasing it as a stand-alone pattern. You can find this pattern right now in my pattern shop in both pdf and paper pattern format.
The inspiration for the bag design came because at the time that I designed it, I knew a lot of people going to QuiltCon, a modern quilting convention. I thought that it would be handy to have things like cash and credit cards within quick grasp, so I designed these right under the flap. The bag is also really roomy, as at the top of the flap is a zipper, opening up the entire lining to a lot of extra storage space.
The fabrics I used for this version were designed by Momo for Moda Fabrics and the line is called Flying Colors. I used a textured pink vinyl fabric for the side panel.

I personally used both versions of the bag that I made, and I really love it. The cross-body style is perfect for me, and I like the slim style of the bag because it sits flat against my body. I thought the credit card slots were really handy and each slot was snug around the cards. It was stress-free not having to deal with a wallet!
Hope you enjoyed another look at this bag, and you can pick it up in my pattern shop right now!
