The Sidewinder Pouch is the 3rd of the Minikins, my 12-pattern+video bundle of great accessories to sew for any occasion! I’d love to tell you a little bit more about this pattern, and don’t forget to read to the end to enter a photo of your own completed Sidewinder Pouch projects!
For the month of March 2018, I will be choosing a randomly-chosen winner out of all those that enter a photo at the end of this blog post. The random winner will be awarded a $100 gift certificate at Sew Sweetness! Winner will be drawn after March 31, 2018. Good luck! The winner of the challenge was #22 Day Trip Fun!
The Sidewinder Pouch comes in 3 different sizes. The front panel wraps around to the back, and there is a top zippered closure. A non-directional fabric is preferred for this pouch. The project comes together quickly, especially with the companion video that is available. The PDF pattern contains full-color step photos and the video is 41 minutes long. The pattern and video for the Minikins will be available in your account on my site upon purchase.
For my cover samples, I used a stripe fabric designed by Becca Bryan for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. This is one of my favorite projects from the bundle.
Thank you so much to my pattern testers for going above and beyond as always and turning in some stellar work!! Don’t forget to enter your own photos at the very end of this blog post!

Will you be selling the Minikins patterns separate lay in the future?
Hi there! The Minikins 12-pack pattern+video bundle will only be available as a full set. I decided to sell them as a set because I was really excited to share the patterns as part of a monthly sewing motivation with the videos. I am treating the Minikins as similar to a Block of the Month program (if you’re a quilter, you may have done some BOM’s in the past). Thank you!
Hi Sara,
As usual I appear to be lost. I tried to upload a photo for the March monthly. I used a link to my photos on my computer but although it uploaded it would not publish because it said the link was bad. I don’t have a blog or other link for the photos. I assume I am not understanding what to do. Perhaps I just don’t reach things right.
If you can help I would appreciate it. If not for this month then for the future.
Thank you,
Harriet
