If you have an electric cutting machine, here are the SVG Files for the Persimmon Dumpling Pouch. Many thanks for Michelle Graham for preparing the SVG files. Persimmon Dumpling Pouch – SVG Files

The Persimmon Dumpling Pouch PDF Pattern comes in 3 sizes (small, medium, and large) and comes together quickly. You can either make it in patchwork as instructed in the pattern, or you can make your pouch all in one fabric.

Good day ma, really want to make this bag with soft and stable, but the cost of shipping to my country is very high. What do I do?

    1. Sara Lawson says:

Hello Gloria! In a pinch you can use Thermolam or fleece (or even batting). The structure will be a little bit different than the foam, but will work for this project. Thank you!

Hi Sara, I just finished making the medium dumpling pouch and came out SUPER cute, I’ll try to see how to put the picture in your FB group. Loved your video and detailed instructions, it’s my first time making this type of project and was easy to make.
I do have a question, I think the lining looks a little big, do you think next time I should cut lining a little smaller that the outside fabric?
    Thanks for sharing

Hi Sara…I really enjoyed your video to make this pouch! Question…may I ask what sewing machine you use in the video? It sure seems to handle thicknesses very well! Thanks for the free pattern and tutorial!

I tried to print off your free pattern but all that printed was the first page, (the picture of the bag). I would love to make it.

Hello Ivana, I sent you an email. Thank you!

  26. Margaretha says:

Hi Sara I just love your bags and thank you for our generosity with the free patterns! You mention one size zip ie 51cm, is this for all three bags each or can one use a zip size to correspond with the bag size. In which case would would those zip lengths be?

    1. sewsweetness says:

Hello Margaretha! I would suggest at least 4″ longer than the top curved edge of whatever size you’re making. I like to have the extra tail on either end for ease of sewing the pieces together (and then the excess gets trimmed near the end). Thank you!
