This bag lady has never heard of barkcloth. This past weekend I was working on the eight filigree double zip pouches that I cut out last Monday…an on-going project during the week. Two are completely finished. I brought one to church on Sunday to see if the ladies thought it would go well at the craft auction. Sure it would…where did you get it? I made it. NO. Yep, Vinyl…on a bag that I would want waterproofed or a cosmetic case. Some of the filagree bags I am working on have some shower curtain material. It seems to have a rubber backing on it. I can sometimes purchased shower curtains at rummage sales and they make great bags and are kind of waterproof, too. 🙂

Love watching you’re shows, keep them coming! I would use the iron on vinyl to make a large tote bag for travel, would make it more sturdy and take some abuse. I have worked with vinyl years ago and have also heard of the “bark” fabric, but never used it. Thanks…..hi Danny!
