Today’s giveaway is brought to you by Jennifer of Jennifer Lauren Vintage.
Jennifer is a blogger and pattern designer. You can check out her blog for some inspiration for your next garment project or head over to her shop to purchase her patterns.
Jennifer is a designer who believes there is no “one right way” to approach to sewing and loves sewing vintage clothes from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Her designs are also vintage inspired and are fresh and classic. The lucky winner will receive 3 PDFs patterns from her shop and will be well on their way to adding some classic staples to their wardrobe. With some amazing patterns to choose from, you might want them all!
Some of her patterns include:
The Felicity:
Felicity is the perfect easy summer dress, with gentle gathers shaping the bodice and fun all-in-one yoke pockets adorning your choice of a simple gathered skirt or 3/4 circle skirt.
Finished with a contrast (or matching) binding on the neckline and arm holes and with a lapped zip to tie everything together, Felicity is quick to make and flattering on all shapes.
The Afternoon Blouse:
Ladies easy spring and summer blouse PDF Pattern. Multi-size 6 to 20.
The Dalloway skirt and dress:
Ladies pleated dress and skirt PDF sewing pattern. Multi-size 6 to 20.
With the Dalloway Dress & Skirt in your wardrobe, you’ll be ready to host your own party at a moment’s notice. But which view will you choose to make first? At least in this story, you can have your cake and eat it too.
Five horizontal pleats run the length of the skirt creating the illusion of a tiered peplum while adding body and detail. Small soft pleats then gently shape the skirt around the waist and hips, giving the impression of a fitted pencil skirt with all the comfort of being able to eat your way around the buffet table.
An easy summer blouse perfect for afternoons sipping tea (or cocktails), the Afternoon Blouse has been designed with beginners and advanced sewers in mind.
For the beginner, the flowing design will help to build sewing confidence with its choice of two decorative necklines and 1940s-inspired kimono sleeves. For the advanced sewer, this gorgeous blouse can be made in one afternoon using silk or rayon – a luxurious, quick and satisfying make.

Elliot Berman Textiles or New York Center Fashion Fabrics, occasionally Mood Fabrics for garment type fabrics. For quilting cottons and voiles, Hawthorne Threads.
we have a lot of great places near me! I love The Fabric Store and Momen+.
I find the best options online.
I have the most fun “shopping” fabric in my sisters basement! I love the vintage look of the patterns.
We have a brand-new SCRAP store in my area and it’s already my new favorite place for fabric!
Fabric Mart online.
Online – either Fabric.Com or GirlCharlee.
My local Hancock fabrics. I really like to feel and see the fabric before I buy it.
Lovely patterns. I love to shop for fabric in independent fabric and quilting stores. But like most fabriholics, I can find fabric I like almost anywhere. In fact, I found a couple of gorgeous vintage fabrics at an elderly friend’s yard sale.
I love to buy from local shops but as I do not live in a big city, online shops are my most usual source for fabrics.
There aren’t many good shops near me so I do most of my fabric shopping online
at stoffenspecktakel, that is an organized fabric market. They are organized in big event spaces and have more than 100 individual vendors.
I shop locally and online for my fabric. I just love these patterns. They are a nice update to vintage patterns. They look comfortable to wear, but are still feminine at the same time. Keep up the good work Jennifer!!!
I buy most of my fabric at fabric.com and other online resources, but I sometimes buy at our local JoAnn’s, as well.
Online, not any good stores selling fabrics for making clothes close by.
I prefer buying locally because I like seeing the fabrics IRL, but usually that means less choice.
I love Hawthorne Threads and Craftsy online – both have excellent customer service!
Locally, I like to shop at Beverlys with a Joann coupon…
i love etsy & hawthorne threads…i have shopped for fabric at All types of stores…. thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
I try to purchase at my local quilt shop whenever i can, buit also like to supplement with on-line and road trips – as not all stores carry all fabrics…
Hawthorne Threads is where I find fabric I love online, and in person, take me to G Street Fabrics in Rockville, MD!
Any shops I happen to be near – although I do like good deals online
Abakhan. I window shop online but I prefer to see and touch the fabric beford I buy.
I have a weakness for buying fabric online
I shop online. I try to shop locally, but the shops near me don’t carry much Art Gallery or Free Spirit fabrics. And I live in a major city. So disappointing. If I want to find a specific print, I almost always have to order online. Same goes with indie printed patterns.
Fabric.com!
If money were no object it would be Liberty of London! Love these patterns x
Patterns are lovely. I shop online, and if I’m traveling I love to hunt out unique fabric shops. Sara, I’m loving this series!
cute patterns!
probably joanns. It has the best deals and most selection in my area
Right now, Etsy. 🙂
love online shops like Canadian National Fabric and Girl Charlee
My favorite places are imaginegnats, fabric.com, moodfabrics.com, and etsy. I love Jennifer Lauren’s patterns. Thank you!

Local shops
Mainly charity shops or my local John Lewis
Hawtgorne threads. Being overseas, its really important knowing the shipping upfront, and that the shop does everything it can to squeeze things in to the flat rate shipping box.
I live in Bangkok, so my favorite place to shop for fabric is in Chinatown!
My local quilt shops are awesome. I’m fortunate to have several great shops within a reasonable distance.
I love to shop online for fabric because the small town I live nearby has a fabric shop, but it has horrendous selection (and is frightfully overpriced!) and the only other options are in the city which also have somewhat sad selection. One of my very online shops is BobbieLou’s Fabric Factory.
I prefer local, but the selection is limited so I use Hawthorne Threads or Fabric Mart quite a bit.
I prefer to be able to purchase in-person, to feel the hand of each fabric length. However, there is so much more available at the click of the mouse!
I shop at JoAnn’s and Hancock’s, as I like to see and feel the fabric in person.
Hawthorne Threads has such great search options and a great selection. After that etsy and fabric.com. I just wish I could get my fingers on all of the fabrics before I decide.
I wish I had more options locally, but I mostly shop for fabric online. I love Imagine Gnats shop!
SR Harris, a local fabric outlet. Their newest location has wonderful cottons and they have leather remnants, perfect for bags.
Online, Intrepid Thread for quilting, Fabric.com for garment fabric (although…they have a horrible way of keeping track of their stock which almost always results in something being out of stock that I ordered..)
At Fabric-a-brac, which is a twice-yearly event to raise money for the local Hospice. People can have stalls to sell fabric from their stash, and there are often lots of vintage fabrics to find, or really interesting things. So much fun! 🙂
Love her patterns 🙂 I usually shop online for my fabrics
Online, there’s a bigger range than in stores
Online shopping at belgien websites with gorgeous fabrics!
I prefer local shops but lately I have been doing more shopping online
When I have the $, Tessuti fabric in Sydney is amazing. Otherwise online is pretty great, especially for finding organics. I have also bought fabric from Craftsy recently and it ships super quick!
I prefer to buy fabric at markets and on holiday, as it is more fun and sometimes cheaper. Also, fabric makes the best holiday souvenirs! Otherwise, I love to visit and “support” my childhood fabric store, just a short drive from my parents house.
Online
I shop online a lot, but also love to rummage in fabric shops. There’s also a great family run haberdashery nearby with fabric piled up to the ceiling that I can spend all afternoon in.
Love to go to my local quilt shop. I can browse around for a long time. Always hard to choose. Thank you.
We don’t have much around me, so online, at Girl Charlee or Fabric.com for my garment stuff.
I have yet to buy fabric online, I’m more of an impulse buyer and I like to feel it. I prefer my local quilt shop or another fabric shop. I check out the thrift stores too – I’ve been amazed at what people drop off there! I buy a lot at a local box store too – it’s hit and miss though, and I do like the cheaper price but the nice fabric feels oh so good, so it depends on what I’m making – quilts, clothes, bags, etc.
I love to shop online! The most beautiful fabrics are available!! But I live very close to a JoAnn’s so I’m frequently shopping there as well 🙂
I love local quilt stores, but they are becoming hard to find.
So many wonderful local shops in my area!
I only shop online for the most part, and love to buy at mood!
I like buying fabric at Fabric Land in the Uk as it has a nice selection and is so cheap you don’t worry when you’re learning!
We have a local place called Colorado Fabrics that is great! I also love Fabricworm ad Etsy.

Hawthorn Threads
Hancock is one of my faves.
I usually shop for all of my fabric online
FabricMart, FashionFabricsClub, GirlCharlee.
Lately I’ve been on a Mood Fabrics online kick, although I often stop by JoAnn Fabrics and get sucked in. I’d like to broaden my online sources a bit.
It depends on what kind of fabric. We don’t have a good garment fabric store nearby so I like to go to Berkeley, Oakland, or San Francisco for good garment fabrics. I like several quilt shops nearby and of course online for quilting fabric.
I’ve been buying apparel fabrics at Imagine Gnats. :}
I like to fondle the fabric so my local fabricland is my usual choice.
My favorite place to buy fabric is either Joann or Goodwill (classy, I know). I hate to spend a bunch of money on anything so I keep an eye out for amazing sales at Joann or decent sheets at Goodwill. I have been able to find some pretty cool stuff!
Depending on what kind of fabric I am looking for but always online….if cotton then I start at FQS, if something else then I start at fabric, com
Online at Hawthorne Threads.
I shop exclusively at local boutiques. We have a great bridal and apparel fabric shop in the area, so I mostly shop there, but occasionally shop our local quilt shops to make my mini me something out of quilting cotton. 🙂
I do most of my shopping on line. Fashion fabrics club is a favorite. But thrift stores are also fun.
There are some good shops nearby that I love (District fabrics, Nancy’s Sewing Basket, and Pacific Fabrics), and I also look for fabric at thrift stores.
Very cute patterns!
I am very new to sewing so I have only purchased fabric from Joann B&M but I would like to start buying online.
fabric.com or upcycling thrift finds!
Texstyle in Austin is awesome!
Shipshewana, Hancock Fabrics, online.
