Jungle Ave. Lapin Noir Bag

try1

Happy Monday! I’m really happy to be mostly-installed to my new home on WordPress! So I thought I would kick off the week by beginning to show you some bags that I’ve been sewing for Quilt Market in my new ‘Jungle Ave.’ line for Art Gallery Fabrics, which release to shops this June! Quilt Market is a twice-yearly trade show that is a showcase for new products. The quilt shops that attend usually place their orders with companies for the products for their shop.

This bag was made using ‘Word on the Street’ and ‘Dotted Boulevard’ prints. The handles/straps were made using an Art Gallery blender called ‘Squared Elements’. I think this is one of my favorite bags due to the combination of fabrics and bag pattern. Love it!

‘Lapin Noir Bag’ is one of the 6 new printed patterns that I will have (should be back from the printer maybe end of next week!).

I also wanted to share some of the other Lapin Noir bags that have been popping up in my Flickr group. What do you think?

Love the bag, and the new fabrics look amazing. Great new look to the site too – just one thing: the second and third images that you have on this post are showing up extremely wide for me and as a result they are overlaid by the sidebar links. I’m not sure if that’s something that need teaking, or just something wrong with how it’s being shown on my computer but I thought I’d mention it.

interesting design fabrics. I personally dislike two handles, to me they look redundant and ridiculous. why not two bags one with long handles, one with short. Designs are excellent, please let me not discourage you.
