November 2020 Challenge

CHALLENGE TIME!

Every month there will be a new challenge and you’ll have all month to get your entries in. One randomly chosen winner will be awarded a $100 gift certificate at Sew Sweetness and be announced in the next month’s newsletter. Congratulations to the winner from our October newsletter: #40 Michelle Frederick!

It’s that time of the year when we’re making gifts for our family and friends. So your challenge this month is to make any Sew Sweetness bag which you plan on giving away. No reposting your entry from the last challenge though!

In my family we celebrate Christmas so I made my daughter a Dab essential oil case for her small but growing collection of essential oils. I’m sure I’ll add a few more oils too! I love the heart zipper pulls and I hope it’s a sweet detail that she notices. The exterior fabric is a canvas called “Lavish” by Katarina Roccella and the lining is “ombré bloom” by Vanessa Christenson. The zipper pulls, zipper tape and foam insert are all available in the shop. The Dab essential oil case pattern is available exclusively in the set of Minikins Season Two.

So choose your pattern and when you’ve finished, upload your photo to the blog post here. One entry per person please! If you have trouble uploading, please email your picture to [email protected] and I’ll happily help you.

Please enter your own photo in the linky tool below so your fellow sewists can see your beautiful work!

Random winner will be chosen after November 30, 2020 out of all entries received. The winner of the November challenge was #117 Michele Grace.

IMPORTANT: In the Linky Tool, when it asks #1 Link To, just enter www.sewsweetness.com.

I would like to better understand how this thing works to improve my pics. I took pains to take photos outdoors showing the whole purse and then cannot even get it into the tiny square window. I clicked on the button which I thought would allow me to crop it and no, it entered it….

I had some difficulty uploading my photo and looks like I added a blank picture. Sorry…This is my first time posting.
