I would love that book as the only machine quilting I can do now is the basic stitch in ditch or some stiple
I’m basically a stippler or a walking foot quilter. But, I’ve been branching out lately and have added paisleys and some other designs.
I have machine quilted, but nothing complicated, just the basic in the ditch or straight lines. I’m afraid I’ll ruin the quilt!
New to quilting & have just started straight line quilting patterns on all the little bags & kitchen items I love making to give as gifts. Did stitch in the ditch on my first quilt recently. Would love to learn more about FMQ from a book like this for making bags & quilts, especially fun baby quilts!
Off this topic Sarah, but I received your new bags book & OMGOSH, I don’t know which bag to make first! I’m going to start after the holidays & sign up for your Craftsy class too. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful creativity & talent! Tamara in Chicago
I have a long arm machine so do all kinds of quilting. My favorite is just freehanding feathers.
I have been practicing my machine quilting and finishing up UFOs, and really enjoy quilting geometric shapes.
I have quilted a number of quilts, but no free-motion quilting. Everything I quilt is straight-line. I have also quilted small quilts by hand. Thank you, [email protected]
I have done some basic meandering and organic straight line quilting.
My quilting skills need a lot of improvement. I have mostly done outlining quilt blocks.
I have done only a little quilting–mostly with the walking foot. I keep practicing my free motion but don’t like it enough to use it on my quilts yet. This book looks fantastic!
Yes I have, and I like free motion I can make up the design along the way. Thanks!
I am just tryin my hand at FMQ… Only small practice stuff..mostly stippling/meandering. Would love this book…it sounds Awesome! Thanks for chance to win! 🙂
MERRY CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS!!
I have a long arm machine so I LOVE quilting. I do all custom free motion and would be great to be able to have less starts and stops. Thanks for a chance.
HELLO, I have been doing some FMQ, liking to do about a 1.5″ leaf with trailing vine repeated. Just a beginner here, so this books looks very helpful! Thank You for sharing! MERRY CHRISTMAS !

Hi Sara. Quilting is my latest quest. I have done simple things, like stitch in the ditch, but I would really like to tackle free motion quilting and create some beautiful custom quilting. The book you are giving away could launch me n the right direction.
Christmas blessings to you today and throughout the coming new year.
I have done machine quilting but still have a lot to learn. not very good at it yet.
I totally machine quilt! I’m a master of straight-ish lines. I’ve been meaning to Google “free motion” quilting. Ha!
I have not done any quilting but have been wanting to learn how. I keep seeing awesome projects I’d like to make but I do not know how to quilt :/
The only FMQ I have only done is some stippling as I tend to do more straight lines using my walking foot. Thanks for the chance to win!
I do lots of stippling and I’m working on feathers. i would love to expand my horizons!
I am trying to venture a bit in my quilting. I usually just use my walking foot and make straight line quilting or the spiral.

I’ve done some fmq on my domestic machine. I’ve done meandering, loops, and have drawn designs and followed them. I would love more ideas, though. This books sounds awesome!
I do a lot of FMQ but I am not very good. When they say you need to practice they really mean it.
I took a craftsy class and do some fun walking stitch quilting. I have also done some free motion quilting, mostly a meandering stitch but have recently tried some other designs. I quilted something up for my teenage daughter with a meandering fmq stitch but snuck in some words for her to find like her name and other words like love, laugh, peace, serenity, etc. turned out fun. Like a hide and seek.
I have done some quilting, but I don’t really have a favourite type other than “machine”.
I’ve done a little – I like straight line quillting
I can stipple and do lines/crosshatch, would love to try some new things.
I machine quilt, both with my walking foot and free motion.
Also, I got your book in the mail a few days ago. I am so excited to try out some of the bags!
I have tried all types of machine quilting from straight lines to free motion feathers. I am getting better at free motion so I keep practicing.
I have not tried machine quilting…yet
I have machine quilted. Only a couple of times though. I really need practice to feel comfortable!
Yes Sara. Wavy lines is my favorite technique.
