A bit about her sewing career from her website: Since I began my creative adventure (8 years ago) I have designed in excess of 100 patterns, published my first two books, “Kaleidoscope” and “Sewn Toy Tales”, and taught at sewing retreats across Australia. A few years ago I also began my journey in fabric design having released 3 fabric collections since 2010.

The name of this bag, Raspberry Ripple, is so cute and I love that the red peaking out from the pleats creates just that image on the front of the bag! The accenting possibilities through fabric combinations are endless on this bag and the great shape is so fun and feminine, a must have handbag for any fashionista for sure!

I have never been brave enough to try a backpack but the unique style and shape of this bag has me really wanting to try one! The front zipper pocket is perfect for using this as a handbag or school bag and that top flap closure is simply darling. Her pattern information describes this as a practical and fun bag that is not too schoolish and I totally agree, this would be a fantastic bag for both children and adults!
