I have a commission quilt to trim and bind, and another to finish up so it can go on the long arm. And I have two quilts to bind, I hate hand sewing the binding on as much as I hate putting a label on! Isn’t that silly?
I fully intend to finish at least one WIP, but if I’m being realistic I’ll probably cut into this nice stack of fabric I’ve prepared for a new quilt instead!
This week I’m rushing to finish a quilt top by Friday, then im going on a 5 day cruise! Will have withdrawl symptoms being away from both the Internet and my sewing machine!

My sewing plans are to finish my daughter’s Halloween costume. Wish me luck, because with a 4 month old and a 5 year old I haven’t been able to fit in much sewing.
Making bags of course…that seems to be the sum of all my quilting/sewing right now, which is cool. I’m also making crib sheets for expectant twin girl nieces in Nov:), a quilt for their “big sister to be” , 20 or so tote bags for disabled homeless veterans. I absolutely need to make a clutch bag for me…and the Eve Clutch will do it!

I made a new bag as a donation for a silent auction at a fundraiser… I also need to get to some curtains, a tooth fairy pillow & shortening the straps on a tank top. I should probably be sewing rather than reading blogs!!! 😉

This week I am working on a beautiful appliqued cot quilt for my yet to be born grandchild. Each stitch is made with love and a wish for future happiness and health.

I hope to get a chance to make a BBQ apron and oven gloves as a gift for a male friend. I need to start making my annual pjs for my 5 grandchildren who love them. I am finishing off a bunch of things I have made for Cape Hope Project 25 that provides needed items to 4 – 15 yr olds in Kenya – I have made 3 soft toys, 3 soft fleece scarves and 20 reusable feminine pads so that girls don’t have to stay home from school once a month. One day I will make myself an awesome bag!!

I just started working full time this week 🙁 sot hat limits my sewing time…BUT….I need to finish a divided basket and start my daughter’s costume!

To finish up my Sewaholic Pendrell, to start a knew one in a knit, and to make a vogue shell/pendrell hybrid dress so I can make room to start on a new quilt for a loved one!
I’m working on a super special bye bye love bag for a present.
Making a drawstring bag got my nephew.
