Here’s a closer look at the Nuthatch Organizer from Minikins Season Four. This pattern is exclusively part of the bundle. The pattern includes two different options – an organizer for sewing machine feet, and an organizer for notions (or other items!).
Finished Size:
- both styles are 12” long x 16-1/2” tall x 3/4” deep (when open) (31cm x 42cm x 2cm)
- sewing machine feet organizer 12” long x 6-1/2” tall x 1” deep (when closed)(31cm x 17cm x 2.5cm)
- notion organizer 12” long x 5-3/4” tall x 1” deep (when closed) (31cm x 15cm x 2.5cm)
The bundle includes the pdf patterns and videos to make all 12 projects.
Each pdf pattern includes sewing instructions, complete with step-by-step color photos. Also included in the PDF pattern are printable pattern pieces for your home printer. The following files will all be included with your PDF pattern purchase:
- SVG Files (for electric cutting machines, such as the Brother Scan N Cut and the Cricut Maker)
- Projector Files (for use with home projectors for cutting out fabric; please see the group Projectors for Sewing for more information)
- A0 Files (large-format 33″ x 46″ pattern page for printing at your local copy shop, in case you would rather not tape together the pattern pages that are included in the PDF pattern)
Supplies:
- 1/2 yard/metre of non-directonal exterior fabric (one fat quarter will also work)
- 1/2 yard/metre of lining fabric
- 14” x 18” piece of foam interfacing (By Annie’s Soft and Stable, Pellon Flex Foam, Bosal In-R-Form, or automotive headliner)
- 1 yard/metre 20” wide Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex fusible woven interfacing (or med-weight fusible interfacing)
- Four 1” squares of Pellon Peltex or Decovil Heavy (to reinforce the magnetic snaps)
- 1/4 yard/metre of clear vinyl (12 gauge or 16 gauge recommended)
- Two 1/2” magnetic snaps
- For sewing machine feet organizer: 1-2/3 yard/metre of zipper-by-the-yard with 5 zipper pulls (or five 12” handbag zippers)
- For notion organizer: 1 yard/metre of zipper-by-the-yard with 3 pulls (or three 12” handbag zippers)
