I would have to say, that in my sewing room at least, rotary cutters are like scissors. I have many pairs, and they all function at a good average, but I just have one scissor (Kai #7205!) and one rotary cutter that is the best and easiest to use.
I recently started using the Martelli Ergonomic Rotary Cutter, and I have to say that it’s truly the best and easiest on the body to use. I don’t personally have an issue with wrist or arm strength, but even I can admit that I get fatiqued after cutting out fabric, especially for a quilt. This cutter, available in both left-handed and right-handed versions, makes a huge difference.
