March 2022 Challenge

Welcome to the MarchChallenge! Every month there will be a new challenge and you’ll have all month to get your entries in. This month we’re going to have TWO challenges. You can enter one or both but can’t submit the same entry twice. One randomly chosen winner for each challenge will be awarded a $50 gift certificate for Sew Sweetness and be announced in the next month’s newsletter.

Challenge A

The Minikins Season Three challenge this month is to make the Pinto Stadium Bag. When you need a clear bag for work or for a concert or stadium event, this is the bag to make! Give your bag a little flair by pairing the clear vinyl with a fun cotton print for the binding and straps.

Challenge B

The other challenge this month is all about upcycling. Lately, I’ve seen a lot of denim being given new life! We’re not suggesting you cut up something that is still useful, but if it’s no longer of service in its current form, think about transforming it into a Sew Sweetness bag or pouch!

So choose your Sew Sweetness pattern and when you’ve finished, upload your photo below. One entry per person per challenge (Challenge A or Challenge B) and no reposting from previous months please! If you have trouble uploading, please email your picture to [email protected] and I’ll happily help you.

Please enter your own photo in the linky tool below so your fellow sewists can see your beautiful work! Your entry should be newly sewn; the project should be sewn between March 1, 2022 and March 31, 2022.

Random winner will be chosen after March 31, 2022 out of all entries received. The winners for March are #24 Patricia and #8 Ruth.
