In case you missed it, a sewalong is going on this month for the Hey Mercedes Bag from my book, Windy City Bags. Reece from Happy Okapi hosted the sewlong on her site, and it’s not too late to join in! You have until March 31, 2016 to post your finished bag!
Reece has 3 days of the sewalong with helpful tips and photographs for making your bag, including:
Day 1 – Fabric Prep (cutting fabric and interfacing, fusing)
Day 2 – Sewing the Handles and Pockets
Day 3 – Finishing Up the Bag
Reece did an amazing job with the sewalong and I think all of her information is very helpful if you need a little extra handholding in making this bag (or just the kick in the pants to get it done!).
