I love Allie J’s blue dress. It reminds me of the powder blue dress my mom made me for my 8th grade graduation which was a very, very long time ago. Beautiful dress, Allie. You might have outshone the bride!

Congrats to all the winners! I was a voting participant and yes, my pick Allie J. won. Her dress is beautiful and looks well fitted. The second and third place also deserved to be winners. The second place winner had to put a lot of fitting into the pattern also with its form-fit structure, and it is quite time consuming. The hemline of Jess Sew Fabulous is marvelous. The dress looks easily made with its simple lines and the hemline elevating it from simple to classic.
While not a contestant I certainly did enjoy your contest and viewing everyone’s efforts. I am betting it will double or triple in competition size every year! Happy sewing!
