Freezer Paper

Freezer paper is not only great for applique, but also perfect for cutting out pattern pieces to the exact size that you need! Print your pattern pieces out on your inkjet printer (print on the non-shiny side of the paper), then rough-cut approximately 1/4″ larger around the outer lines of the template. Iron the template with the shiny side against the wrong side of the fabric, then cut on the lines. The freezer paper will peel away when you are finished, and it is even reusable!
