  • 1/2 yard (0.5 metre) of foam interfacing (By Annie’s Soft and Stable, Pellon Flex Foam, Bosal In-R-Form, or automotive headliner; if using Flex Foam, it is only 20” wide so please purchase double)
  • 2-1/2 yards (2.25 metre) of 20” wide Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex fusible woven interfacing (medium-weight fusible)
  • 1/4 yard (0.25 metre) of Pellon Peltex #71F one-sided fusible ultra-firm interfacing

    (verified owner):

Beautiful bag, and a very-easy-to-follow pattern. I’m almost finished with mine, and I can’t wait to start another. One thing – making this bag is like making luggage. That’s not a bad thing; it’s not hard, just detailed. The construction is nice and sturdy, and this bag should hold up for a good long time. (I highly recommend using automotive headliner for the foam underlining. It’s easier to sew through than any of the quilting foams I’ve tried. Only problem is, it’s hard to find white, so choose fabrics where the headliner color won’t show through.)

Love it, love it, love it. Thanks, Sara!
