These pouches are fat-quarter friendly and come together quickly with minimal pieces to cut out. Perfect for storing sewing supplies, cosmetics, school supplies, or just about anything you can think of! Bello Pouches make fantastic, quick gifts!

The pdf pattern includes 9 pages of sewing instructions, complete with 21 step-by-step color photos. Also included in the PDF pattern are printable pattern pieces for your home printer. The following files will all be included with your PDF pattern purchase:

  • SVG Files (for electric cutting machines, such as the Brother Scan N Cut and the Cricut Maker)
  • Projector Files (for use with home projectors for cutting out fabric; please see the group Projectors for Sewing for more information)
  • A0 Files (large-format 33″ x 46″ pattern page for printing at your local copy shop, in case you would rather not tape together the pattern pages that are included in the PDF pattern)

Supplies Needed to Make This Pouch (will make 1 pouch)

  • 1 fat quarter or 1/4 yard/metre of Exterior Fabric (1/2 yard/metre is needed for size large)
  • 1 fat quarter or 1/4 yard/metre of Lining Fabric (1/2 yard/metre is needed for size large)
  • 6-1/2” x 4-1/2” piece of Solid Fabric for Handle (16.5cm x 11.5cm)
  • Two different finishing methods are given (sewing right sides together, and finishing with binding). If you will
    be finishing your pouch with binding, you will need an extra fat quarter of fabric (which is enough to make
    binding for several pouches)
  • 1/4 yard/metre of foam interfacing (By Annie’s Soft and Stable, Pellon Flex Foam, Bosal In-R-Form, or automotive headliner; if using Flex Foam, it is only 20” wide so please purchase 1-1/2 yard)
  • 1/2 yard/metre of 20” wide Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex fusible woven interfacing (or medium-weight fusible interfacing)
  • handbag zipper (small – 12” / medium 16” / large 20”) (small – 30cm / medium – 40cm / large – 50cm)
