Welcome to the August Challenge! Every month there will be a new challenge and you’ll have all month to get your entries in. This month we’re going to have TWO challenges. You can enter one or both but can’t submit the same entry twice. One randomly chosen winner for each challenge will be awarded a $50 gift certificate for Sew Sweetness and be announced in the next month’s newsletter.
Challenge A
The Minikins Season Three challenge this month is to make the Hackney Pouch. I really love the curved shape of the lid, and it’s perfect for holding a myriad of different items, including school supplies, cosmetics, sewing supplies, and even a Nintendo Switch!
Challenge B
The other challenge this month is to make either a backpack (Park Sling, Cumberland, Edelweiss, Petrillo, Promise Ring or Shades) or a lunch bag (Morsel, Peas and Corn). For many of you it’s almost back to school time so send them off in style! I look after my nephew’s little boy once a week and made a Peas and Corn lunch bag to keep his snacks together. Adding insulated fleece and a wipeable interior makes me the great”est” aunty I think – not to mention the perfect placement of that label!
So choose your Sew Sweetness pattern and when you’ve finished, upload your photo below. One entry per person per challenge (Challenge A or Challenge B) and no reposting from previous months please!
