The tool looks/great. However, without a scant 1/4-inch, it’s useless for quilters. I like the slot better than the hole in other seam guides, but for me (and I assume many others) it does not fit our needs.

I just bought yet another a vintage machine, this time a Kenmore Rotary, No after market needle plates available, so I’m looking for solutions. I have a seam guide that requires the user to insert the needle in a hole, but it’s really hard to see the hole through my presser foot. I like the look of this one, because I won’t need x-ray vision to see where my hole is. This is perfect for the majority of your followers, Sara, because these are exactly the seam allowances required for sewing handbags, and you’re a handbag designer. I imagine quilters can buy one of the 1,536,872 seam guided I can’t use, because they don’t have a 1/8″ measure. Yes, I’ve been looking for awhile, had no idea one of my favorite bag designers sells exactly what I need. I’ll be spreading the word!
