Suffolk Coin Purse

It’s that time again! I’m excited to introduce you to the 4th free project and video to go along with our Sew Sweetness Book Club discussion.

Before you begin watching the video, please download the free Suffolk Coin Purse PDF Pattern here: PATTERN – Suffolk Coin Purse

If you have an electric cutting machine (such as the Cricut Maker, etc.) you can find the SVG Files for this pattern by clicking here.

This coin purse uses a coin purse frame (either a small or large frame – both sizes are included in the pattern). It’s a really quick project that makes a great gift!

How can I get the pattern. I purchased the frames.

    1. Sara Lawson says:

Hi Joan, I’ve emailed you the pattern again – if it’s still not printing, it may be a printer/low ink issue. Thank you!

  4. Charlotte Coughlin says:

Your patterns are very well written’ you explain everything so well. When you do videos they are great, I can sew and stop / start and follow you so well. Thank you Sara for all your hard work, for the great book selections and all the free patterns.

When I downloaded the pattern, I could get nothing for the first page, but every other page came out really well. It’s not a big hassle as I can make something up, but just wondered if anyone else has had this problem, if so, what am I doing wrong?

    1. Sara Lawson says:

Aww, thank you so much Yvonne!!

      1. Sara Lawson says:

Also, I’ll email you the pattern again. Thank you!

Sara, thank you so much for emailing me the pattern, it worked and I’ve printed it out ready to start sewing soon. Best wishes and thank you ♥️♥️

This pattern only makes the large coin purse – no pattern for the small coin purse unless you buy the die?

    1. LadyD says:

Your PDF handling software should allow you to print the large pattern in a smaller size. 80% would be a good choice.

    2. LadyD says:

Janell I checked again. The pattern page for the large coin purse also has a template for a smaller purse.

  7. Nancy Dworek says:

Where do you buy the frames? I’m going to join to get the pattern but I’d like to know my frames are on the way.

  8. Sharon Shetley says:

I just downloaded the pattern with video…on waiting list for the frames. Where do I view the video ? Videos are so helpful to combine with the written instructions. Thank you ~

I just love the coin purse, but can’t get the large frames. When will you have them back in stock? I have everything cut out and ready to sew! Thank you

  14. Sara Lawson says:

Hi Cara! I’m so sorry that we are out of stock on these! I am hoping they will arrive around the end of September. Thank you!

So excited to find your site! I have always wanted to make a coin purse, but unsure. Your pattern is so easy to follow. Thank you for the free patterns. I am disappointed the frames are out of stock at this time too. I wanted to purchase them from you.
Your bags seem to be addicting and I have already picked out future projects and will be a paying customer!
Thank you for getting me started with free patterns.

    1. sewsweetness says:

Thank you Darrene! We are expecting a shipment of the coin purse frames this upcoming Monday (as long as there aren’t any delays with the shipping carrier). Thank you!
