The Video was good. Where can I source an iron like the one used on the fabric in the video.
Hi Louis! The iron that I use is the Singer Expert Finish. Hope this helps!
Thank you Sarah so much for this video, you made it look so easy and I really enjoyed watching it and learnt a lot. I am definitely going to make this bag! From Val in South Africa
Hello again Sarah – Could you use Faux leather instead of cork or leather in this bag. If so could you advise any demo I could watch- thank you
Yes definitely! You can use the same methods that I use in the video for working with cork. Hope this helps!
Thank you for making this available
I love bags and I’m so happy I found your channel! I can’t wait till I’m able to make some for Christmas next year. Wished I had found you sooner! Thanks for making these videos and sharing the videos.
Thank you so much Dee!
I love the bag. I can’t wait to make one. You’re awesome, for making the
video and the pattern.
Thank you Irene!
Your directions are incredibly clear and concise. Well done, you are a pro.
Aww thank you so much for the huge compliment Mary!
I just now had a chance to watch this video, well done and thank you! You do such a good job making your patterns and videos clear and easy to follow. I think this would make great bags for a couple of kids I know to carry their coloring books and snacks and whatnot on long car trips, I can’t wait to get started.
I’m so happy that you enjoyed the video, Robin! Can’t wait to see your finished bags!
Just came across your channel, I am learning to make bags and I will say you are the best instructor I have found so far. I appreciate you sharing your patterns. Thanks so much
Thank you so very much, Chris!!
Thank you so much for your amazing patterns and videos! Your posts have encouraged me to start sewing again 🙂
I plan to make this bag completely out of cork. Is there a different interfacing I should use?
Hi Laura! You should be able to skip the interfacing on the straps and accents; you can probably still use the same interfacing on the other aspects of the bag. Thank you!
Such a great video, and pattern. I have very little sewing experience, and have never attempted anything advance. Your video did not just help me complete the bag, but I also tweaked the pattern and adjusted the size. Now I have a great fly-fishing bag, with several pockets and a zipper-pocket 😀
Cheers!

sorry I’m a beginner, How am I cutting the pieces its says(1) Exterior Bottom Panel, 15” x 6” (2) Exterior Main Panel, 15” x 12” so what am i using I only see the printed pattern that says flap pattern piece Help
Hello Mary, thank you for your email! You can using a quilting ruler and rotary cutter (or scissors) to cut out all of the square/rectangle pieces. Thank you!
Thanks
Hi, There seems to be a couple of pattern pieces missing, the main and bottom panels.
Hi Eileen! In my patterns, squares/rectangles are not represented by pattern pieces. However, the measurements for these pieces are called out in the Cutting Instructions for easy rotary cutting. Thank you!
