The Jetset Cinched Bag is the 7th of the Minikins, my 12-pattern+video bundle of great accessories to sew for any occasion! I’d love to tell you a little bit more about this pattern, and don’t forget to read to the end to enter a photo of your own completed Jetset Cinched Bag projects!
For the month of July 2018, I will be choosing a randomly-chosen winner out of all those that enter a photo at the end of this blog post. The random winner will be awarded a $100 gift certificate at Sew Sweetness! Winner will be drawn after July 31, 2018. Good luck!
The Jetset Cinched Bag is a cute drawstring bag that has mesh inner pockets, which are perfect for holding toiletries when travelling! The drawstring is cinched using a cord lock. The PDF pattern contains full-color step photos and the video is 49 minutes long. The pattern and video for the Minikins will be available in your account on my site upon purchase.
Thank you once again to my pattern testers for turning in these amazing versions!

The linky will remain open forever so that you can continue to add your Jetset Cinched Bag photos after the winner is drawn.
Each and every one of these drawstring totes is marvelous! So inspiring!
Thank you Joanne!
Before I knew you had a challenge, I made a “Ditty Bag” for a friend and didn’t happen to take a picture of it. It’s modeled after the ditty bag we made in Girl Sea Scouts when I was in high school, many years ago, which I still have. Bake then, a seaman or woman learned the “trade” by making everything by hand. So I made ditty bag out of denim, with a drawstring at the top and pockets both in and out, which are more practical for small objects. I decorated mine with patches that we earned/exchanged with others.
Trying to upload a photo but file is too large. Now what?
Hi there! Most cell phone photos are too large for the linky tool. You can edit down your photo size at the free website called PicMonkey or the free app called A Color Story. Thank you!
Thanks, Sara. My DH made it happen. Woohoo!
How tall and wide is this bag?
