The Grab and Go Sleeve is the 5th of the Minikins, my 12-pattern+video bundle of great accessories to sew for any occasion! I’d love to tell you a little bit more about this pattern, and don’t forget to read to the end to enter a photo of your own completed Grab and Go Sleeve projects!
For the month of May 2018, I will be choosing a randomly-chosen winner out of all those that enter a photo at the end of this blog post. The random winner will be awarded a $100 gift certificate at Sew Sweetness! Winner will be drawn after May 31, 2018. Good luck!
The Grab and Go Sleeve is perfect because the pattern works off the measurement of your device (or book!). Just measure the length and height of your tablet, laptop computer, book, or other device and I’ll walk you through how to use just those 2 measurements to turn out a fantastic sleeve with handles! The project comes together quickly, especially with the companion video that is available. The PDF pattern contains full-color step photos and the video is 53 minutes long. The pattern and video for the Minikins will be available in your account on my site upon purchase.
Thank you so much to my pattern testers who have, as always, made some amazing projects!!

Random winner will be chosen after May 31, 2018 out of all entries received. The winner for May is Connie Wilkinson. Congratulations Connie!
The linky will remain open forever so that you can continue to add your Grab and Go Sleeve photos after the winner is drawn.
I’ve made a bag or two. I’ve joined your site recently and enjoy it very much. My question is:. Instead of trimming seams to 1/8 inch, why not use pinking shears. Then you wouldn’t have to notch all the curves.
Hi Suzanne! You sure could! I must admit I am definitely stuck in some habits, like that and drawing out my pattern pieces instead of using a rotary cutter, lol!
Hi Sara, love your patterns and tutorials. Can’t I get the minikins patterns individually instead of a bunch?
Hello Sheela, the Minikins patterns are just available as part of the bundle. Thank you!
