I’m so happy to share with you another video! This time, I’ll be showing you how to make my Discotech Clutch! Before you begin watching the video, please download the pattern below.

For this project, I used the Oval Bag Handles from Emmaline Bags. I also used fabric glue (my favorites are Beacon 3-1 and Beacon Fabric-Tac).
Happy sewing!!
Sara I’m in love with your style of teaching! Every time I see one of your videos I’m inspired to create my own. I noticed that you used shape flex on the main piece of your clutch too in addition to foam but not mentioned in pattern, why? I love the butterfly fabric you used, what line of fabric is it? Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you so much for your very kind comment, Joyce! I actually used a rayon fabric usually used for garments for my main fabric, and it has a slight bit of stretch and drape, so I used Shape Flex to take away the stretch. If I’m using quilting cotton as I normally would, no Shape Flex is needed. The fabric is designed by Melody Miller for Cotton+Steel as part of the ‘Flutter’ fabric line. Hope this helps!
Sara, I want to subscribe to your utube channel, but do not understand how to do it… please help
