Hi there! I sincerely apologize for the trouble – I’ve had my web developer look at improving our newsletter sign up system this morning to derail any future issues going forward. If you still have not received the pattern, please email me at [email protected] and I am happy to help! I apologize for the inconvenience!

Thank you so much for this pattern, love your bags and have made several of your patterns, they are all great. Watching this video, I was wondering what kind of sewing machine you are using, does it automatically cut your thread? What a great time saver!

I love the Oslo bag! I had already made one up last Christmas, but due to a cross country move and change of computers, I have lost my pattern! Please, please send me another copy!
    Sincerely, Elizabeth

    Hi Sarah

Thank you for this lovely pattern, which I’m in the middle of making. One question: could I use D shaped rings instead of rectangular ones for the handles? Square ones are difficult to come across here in the UK.

    1. Sara Lawson says:

      Yes! That would be fine!

  10. marywidman says:

Hi Sara – can you post what brand / model machine you use? It appears to be a lovely machine.

    1. Sara Lawson says:

Hi Mary! Here is a video that we made about my sewing machine: https://sewsweetness.com/2018/01/my-sewing-machine.html

Wow this is wonderful I found your video on utube and I came straight to the site I’ve been wanting to make a craft/diaper bag I so see this as a diaper bag lol you do it with such ease my Chapstick holders started off a disaster there was way too much material I broke a needle so I bought denim ones that worked as did trial and error. What type of machine do you use

  13. Elizabeth Betty Ochoa says:

Hi..thank u for pattern I am too going to make this one for me!

  14. Susan Gibbons says:

I just bought the “His, Hers, and Furs” bundle. Where would I purchase the metal frames used in the pet carrier and the tool bag?

  15. Becky says:

Hi Sara! Would this be a nice pattern to use in making a horse grooming tool bag? What if any tweaks would you make to the pattern for the tools? I am not familiar with the tools but I would like to make one with waterproof canvas or waxed canvas for my cousin who has ponies. ~thanks

    1. Sara Lawson says:

Hello Becky, depending on what your cousin is putting inside the bag (I’m thinking of my brushes and sprays), you may want to add either a piece of Peltex in between the exterior and lining Bottom Panel layers before you finish up the bag, or perhaps even a false bottom: https://sewsweetness.com/2022/02/video-how-to-make-a-false-bottom.html

  16. Sue Steiger says:

Thank you for the video. You did such a good job describing how to do each step. I’m going to make this bag.
