I’m excited to introduce you to my newest pattern, the Ultimate Art Organizer! It is available in pdf and paper pattern formats. This is a step up from my Creative Maker Supply Case pattern; where that was just front and back, the Ultimate Art Organizer has 2 pages in the middle of the case and makes use of 3 outer zippers. It’s fantastic for the diehard artist and fits major amounts of sewing/craft supplies!
Today’s pattern in the Back-to-School series is my newest pattern, but it is quickly climbing the ranks in popularity out of all of my patterns! The reasons why I love it is that it is a quick sew, and that it’s adaptable to carry so many different things. This is the Creative Maker Supply Case! It is available in both pdf and paper pattern format.
Today’s Back-to-School pattern in this week’s series is the Promise Ring Backpack. Don’t forget that you can receive 20% off all school-related patterns in my shop using coupon code backtoschool (this includes the Peas and Corn Lunch Bags, Edelweiss Backpack, Promise Ring Backpack, and Creative Maker Supply Cases). Use any of these patterns to sew a bag and enter it into my sewing contest, which will close on September 15th (plenty of time to get your sew on!). More details on that next week.
New pattern available now! This is the Creative Maker Supply Case, available as both pdf and paper patterns right now in my pattern shop. I am so happy with how this one turned out. I made my cover samples with Alison Glass ‘Handcrafted 2’ fabrics, which I think is a great fabric for an art-inspired case.
Well hello hello! I’m very happy to be releasing not one, but two patterns (I’ll blog about the Ansel Camera Bag tomorrow!). This is the first time ever that both pdf and paper patterns will be released at the same time AND I’m offering a special 15% off discount on both new patterns in my pattern shop, now through Wednesday, May 20th (no coupon code needed).
Today I’m pleased to show a brand new sewing pattern called the Holland Road Bag, available now in my pattern shop! This is a medium-sized bucket-style bag that features a bit of hardware on the straps and an optional fabric covered button closure (or use a magnetic snap in the lining instead!). Because this bag has fewer pattern pieces, it is a quicker sew and is categorized for a confident beginner sewist that is willing to give purse hardware a shot!
Really exciting news today, in that I am finally officially unveiling the Crimson and Clover Train Cases pattern! This is now available as a pdf pattern and a paper pattern in my pattern shop. When I first saw Tula Pink‘s new line, ‘Elizabeth’, I knew it was a must for use in the train cases. When I look at these fabrics, I think of femininity, powder puffs, and all sorts of finery. A great muse for these lovely train cases!
Even though this pattern was already available in my pattern shop, I just got the printed version back from my printer yesterday, so I figured this would be a good chance to blog about the pattern. This is my Byebye Love Bag sewing pattern (of course available as pdf and on paper), which was previously part of the Bag of the Month Club. The club was from January-June 2014, and we will be running the club again in January 2015. It was a 6-month club in which members received a brand new bag pattern each month. This was my contribution to the club, and for the paid version, I decided to slightly update the pattern and also add the small-sized bag to the templates and instructions. The small bag is minus the front pockets that the large bag has, so the small size is a quicker sew (but just as beautiful!).
Today, I’m ecstatic to present you to a new pattern, The Rockstar Bag! This is a good-sized bag, but without being too large. When I wrote this pattern, I decided to put as many details on the bag as I possibly could, so it’s got: detailed handles, (optional) rivets, a strap, a diagonal zippered flap, optional piping, lining zippered pockets, top zip closure, the works. I think it has sort of a retro feel to it. So I would classify it as an intermediate-level sewing pattern, although I must admit that it is not a short pattern. The finished size of the bag is 9-1/2” long x 10” tall x 7” deep.
Hi all! I haven’t been blogging much lately, but I wanted to show you my new bag pattern that came out for the Bag of the Month Club that started on January 1st. This is an exclusive pattern that is only available for club members; besides myself, there are 5 other bag designers involved in this project, and you can read more about the club (or join if you are interested!) right here (2014 club now closed)!
I’m excited to introduce you to the newest pdf sewing pattern to enter my pattern shop, the Park West Bag! This large bag is great for holding a lot of stuff! There are side pockets on the exterior of the bag, and a lining zippered pocket on the inside. With pretty handle detailing for your straps and a recessed zipper closure at the top of the bag, you will be stepping out in style!
