Description
Supplies Needed to Make this Bag
- 3/4 yard of Exterior Fabric (or 1 yard if your fabric is directional)
- 1 yard of Lining Fabric
- 1/2 yard of fabric for straps and flap accent
- 1/4 yard of fabric for the flap
- 2-1/3 yards of Pellon® SF-101 Shape Flex® fusible woven interfacing
- 1 yard of By Annie’s Soft and Stable™, available at local quilt shops or on-line
- (Soft and Stable is a 1/8” thick, foam sew-in interfacing; one of my testers also recommends automotive headliner fabric in place of the Soft and Stable; you can also substitute a needled fleece fusible interfacing for the Soft and Stable, such as Pellon #TP971F Thermolam Plus fusible interfacing)
- 9” zipper
- Two pairs of sew-in invisible magnetic snaps (you can find the invisible magnetic snaps in my shop here)
- 2 pieces, each 10-1/4” x 4-1/4” to slip into the false bottom (you can use plastic quilter’s template, cardboard, or extra-heavy interfacing, such as Pellon Peltex; one of my testers used a plastic cutting board from the dollar store)
