Camp Stitchalot Refresh

CampStitchalotWebCover

I needed to send my Camp Stitchalot Bag sewing pattern to the printer once again, and so I decided to refresh the pattern cover and re-photograph all of the step photos. This was one of my earlier patterns, and back then I was just learning about photographing my steps and laying out the pattern. I wouldn’t call myself a photography expert, but the step photos have certainly improved!

I originally designed this back with lots of pocket storage and inner clear vinyl pockets in order to stash all your sewing supplies when going away to a retreat! I made this version with ‘Snippets’ fabric by Sarah Fielke for Windham Fabrics. Sarah is a treasure and one of the most talented quilt pattern designers that I know! I really loved working with this fabric because it was simply gorgeous!

Here’s a little snippet of the step photos and instructions inside the pattern. The pdf version of the pattern reads as 8″ x 10″ pages, and the paper pattern is a 5.5″ x 8.5″ booklet, but with all of the same full-color photos that the pdf version has. You can find both in my shop. Additionally, if you’ve purchased this pattern in the past, you can log into your account on my site and download the new version with all of the updated photos. Instructions haven’t been changed, just the photos.

The original bag has 4 vinyl pockets on the inside, but I made mine with just 1 because I am planning on using mine to carry around my teaching step-outs when I teach an all-day bag workshop. I think it will be really handy (and attractive) because I usually carry them to the workshop in a plastic grocery bag, lol.

And here’s a view of my 18″ cutting mat in the front pocket of the bag.

Hope you enjoyed these photos of the Camp Stitchalot Bag!

I love the new pictures! Now to remember my account information! I really need to make this bag for myself. I had so much more stuff than I needed last time I went on retreat. This would be a time and space saver.
