Today’s giveaway sponsor is Michelle of Michelle’s Patterns. One lucky winner will receive a 25 dollar gift certificate to Michelle Patterns. Not only can you find some incredible patterns, there is also a sampling of bag hardware and fun notions. You might have a hard time choosing with so many amazing things to choose from!
Some of her awesome patterns include:
The Pleated Wristlet
This pleated wristlet has a hidden zipper in 3 different sizes and features a classic pleated style, a convenient wristlet strap, and a secure zip top. The zipper is concealed below the top of the bag, which looks sophisticated and difficult, but is actually very easy to sew! The exterior bottom corners have a unique pleat that is simple to sew and a great way to give bags depth.
Messenger Bag
This medium sized messenger bag has has two inset pockets–one under the flap, and a second one inside. The inside is roomy enough to hold a wallet, water bottle, paperback book, ipad, etc. This project takes about 3 hours to complete and is designed for those with basic sewing experience.
The Grocery Bag
This is Michelle’s bestselling pattern and you will get tons of use out of these bags! They are great for groceries, taking packages to the post office, packing toys, or any other time you need a simple bag to carry things.
Besides being far more stylish than a plastic bag, this bag is:
• Easy to load – the clerk will appreciate this functional bag.
• Easy to carry – wide handles distribute weight.
• Simple to clean – machine wash & dry.
• Folds to a nice size – easy to pack inside another bag.
• Reversible – line in a second fun fabric.
• Fully lined – looks great and makes the bag twice as sturdy.
