Quilter’s Mixology – Wall Hanging

MixologyButton

This post is part of the Quilter’s Mixology Sew Along. For full details and schedule, click here!

Today’s post is from Jessica of Euphoria Jessica. Jessica has an amazing way of pairing print, color, and low volume. You can see more about her quilty finishes on her blog!

I’m soooo excited to share this fabulous project with you for two reasons:
1) Angela is a sweeteheart. I had the opportunity to meet her last year at sewing summit and one of the reasons I love her so is because she’s really real! No phoney bologna- but genuine. That speaks volumes to me!!

2) The book rules- full of amazing quilts and projects!!
I put together the Loosely Curved Wall Hanging in some fun prints from my stash.

Now I’m not a curve girl (maybe real life curvy) but I suck at curves and steer clear! The instructions were so easy to read and follow. It was a breeze and I’ll admit I was pretty excited that my curves were spot on after awhile. Looking legit if I say so myself!

I really enjoyed pulling prints for this project. Lizzy House is my favorite so it was fun to cut up those leaves and the texty background print that’s been in my stash forever!

You can find Angela’s book here. Its pretty freaking rad, so I suggest you get it ASAP. I know I have a few more projects that I’m going to work on now that I’m not afraid of a little curve action!
Time to quilt this little gem up!

Don’t forget to enter your project into the sew-a-long pool via Sara’s blog here. There are sew many sweet prizes!!! 🙂
