Hi all! I haven’t been blogging much lately, but I wanted to show you my new bag pattern that came out for the Bag of the Month Club that started on January 1st. This is an exclusive pattern that is only available for club members; besides myself, there are 5 other bag designers involved in this project, and you can read more about the club (or join if you are interested!) right here (2014 club now closed)!
I’d like to introduce you to this month’s pattern for the club, called the Bye Bye Love Bag.
If you’re familiar with myself or my blog, you know that when I release a pattern, I have tons and tons of testers. However, this time around, I only had about 3 weeks to get my pattern written and have it tested, so I didn’t think 30 testers would be appropriate. 😉
Tracy from I’ve Got a Notion stepped up to the plate, not making just one, but two versions of the bag (why, I guess she really liked this one!!). I like that she added the solid to the bottom of both of her bags, too.
Cyndi from The Nosy Pepper made this beautiful yellow version. She decided to make a flat strap instead of the rolled strap, and this one was a Christmas gift! Wonderful work as always, Cyndi!
Danielle from Paisley Avenue Handemade was the first member of the club (that I know of) to complete her bag – the pattern came out a week ago and she’s already finished! Isn’t her version amazing?! I particularly love the large buttons on the front – I’m sort of jealous that I hadn’t thought of that, lol!!
Anyway, there is still plenty of time to join the Bag of the Month Club! Join now and get your January pattern within 24 hours, and every month through June you will receive your new pattern on the 1st of the month. Something to look forward to in your inbox!!
I love, love, love the strawberry fabric bag! So dang cute and roomy. Good job!! Next time someone asks me to make them a bag I will have to refer them to this pattern. Thanks
Good to see some other versions since I am still planning mine using fabeic from my stash. They are awesome
Just joined the club! Can’t wait to try this one.
I can’t wait until I am able to start my bag! I even splurged on fabric this afternoon for this bag and got several yards of various prints of Amy Butler’s Hapi for future bags. SOOOO excited.
I am thinking that I might have to join the club. That might be the cold/flu talking since I haven’t been sewing at all. LOL
I might have forgotten to mention that I love the bag. Your bags have such great shapes and the coolest pockets.
Your version with strawberries is so yummy 🙂 Nice one!

Love the fabric you chose for this!
I joined the club on 12/29/13. Still have not received my pattern. E-mail to [email protected]
I may have been one of those no-reply bloggers. Sorry. My other contact info is [email protected].
Hi Sara, I love your pattern and look forward to trying it out, but I joined The Club a couple of days ago and I haven’t received any information either. I know you are probably super busy and I will look forward to getting the pattern soon! Thanks.
All the bags are just beautiful! I love looking at all the different patterns. Amazing 🙂
HI Sara, I also signed and paid up during December, but sadly haven’t received my pattern yet 🙁 Great bag though….love the fabric you used for yours.
Hugs Naomi
My humblest apologies….somehow the pattern ended up in a folder in my emails that I save paypal receipts in, yet I have no message rules set up….and I don’t remember moving it…..weird…..cue twilight zone music lol Yay I have the pattern lol
Hugs
Naomi
Finished my Bye, Bye Love bag today! I love it. Added feet to the bottom and a plastic piece between the outer fabric and lining on the bottom for added sturdiness. I worked on it off and on several nights this week. My niece (age 11) carried it around on her shoulder this afternoon. Looks like she gets the next one!
I would hate any skeptical fashionistas to past up this one, because it really is a great bag! However, if you do have a problem, from my understanding, they will replace it, so take a chance ladies!
