Julie – Hey everyone!! I’m excited to share blocks 79, 80 & 81 of the #tula100 quilt a long with you.
We are 4/5 of the way done!! After this we only have 19 blocks to go!!
These are the fabrics I pulled for block #79. They are Fox Field & Salt Water.

My Block 79 & Tula’s Block 79. I fussy cut the bunny for the center of the block.
These are the fabrics I pulled for block #80. They are Hushabye, Acacia & The Birds and The Bees.
My Block 80 & Tula’s Block 80.  My block looks very similar to Tula’s block even though only one of the fabrics is the same.

These are the fabrics I pulled for block #81. They are Acacia & Salt Water.

My Block 81 & Tula’s Block 81. I fussy cut the anchors and buoys for this block. It takes more time, but the result is defiantly worth it!

Sara –  We are *so* close to finishing!! Everyone should be really proud of themselves for getting this far.

And for my Block 80, I decided to audition my background fabric…do you like it?? I cut into my background fabric last week before I got sick. I’m making the ‘Gridlock’ layout from the book, and there is an easy illustrated diagram to use when cutting the background. There’s a tiny bit of measurement required, but way less piecing, so I liked how Tula did it.

Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to with your blocks!
