Julie – Hey everyone!! I’m excited to share blocks 43, 44 & 45 of the #tula100 quilt a long with you.
We are still in the triangles section of the book. All three of these blocks are primarily green. I decided that I didn’t want to duplicate fabrics from one block to the next so I pulled out all my greens and started picked my fabrics!
These are the fabrics I pulled for block #43. They are Acacia, Flutterby & Plume.
My Block 43 & Tula’s Block 43.
These are the fabrics I pulled for block #44. They are Full Moon Forest & Nightshade
My Block 44 & Tula’s Block 44. I fussy cut the 3 bunnies so that they would land perfectly in the block. I don’t fussy cut often, but since this was a larger area I decided it was worth the effort.
These are the fabrics I pulled for block #45. They are Full Moon Forest, Hushabye & Plume.
My Block 45 & Tula’s Block 45. I didn’t do any fussy cutting here, but I did make sure that the fish were swimming in the right direction and the raindrops were falling to the bottom.
