My friend, Heather, of The Sewing Loft recently had some exciting news to announce…she released a pattern with Simplicity for some adorable childrens’ backpacks. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, as it’s that time of year for back-to-school shopping! You can find Heather’s pattern (Simplicity #1602) at all major fabric and crafting stores.
I got my pattern, and picked up the strap cord at the store right away. I had some special fabrics saved up for my kids for just such an occasion! I know the little backpacks will be really cute, and they can use them right away to tote around their swimming stuff to the pool in.
