SaraHappy Monday! With today’s blocks, we’re about 25% of the way through the book! Wahoo!! By now you should have a nice stack going!

Block 22

Block 23
Last week, I started using a Steamfast mini iron that I picked up on Amazon, along with this tabletop ironing mat. Even though my ironing board is right next to the desk where I sew at, it was still a lot of up and down for these little blocks. This iron is the perfect compliment to my City Sampler blocks because, especially since I usually cut several blocks at once, pretty much when I’m seated, I’m seated. It’s kind of nice. I know it will be great for paper piecing work, too.

Blocks 22 and 23 were super easy peasy, and I think block 24 is my favorite block in the book so far…I love the little descending staircases. It looks pretty in purple too.

Progress is a beautiful thing!

If you are doing the Gridlock layout like I am, here is a numbered grid (in case you want to use the same block order that Tula did) that Teri Emerson compiled. This is so great, thanks Teri!

On another Tula Pink note, I also got my Butterfly quilt back from Longarming Lisa last week, so I’m ready to bind it up tonight after the kids are in bed! Tula is releasing this paper pattern soon, so not much longer to wait!
