I got some Renaissance Ribbons from i heart tula pink in the mail today (which I ripped open like a rabid dog), which is an on-line retailer that sells only Tula Pink fabrics, patterns, ribbon, and limited edition quilt backings and kits. If you’re not familiar with Renaissance Ribbon, they manufacture a lot of beautiful grosgrain ribbon. Besides Tula Pink, they also make Amy Butler and Anna Maria Horner ribbons! They are all luscious.
The Tula Pink ribbons come in three sizes: 1-1/2″, 7/8″, and 5/8″. I think it’s pretty cool to have a size assortment, as well as the ribbon in the two different colorways.
I got the ribbon for a clutch purse that I’m designing…I wanted something small-scale to work with, almost like a selvage project. The design also includes some zippers used in a fun way. I’m not concrete on the design yet, but I think the ribbon will make it pretty amazing.
Like the ribbon? Get it here in packs or single ribbon by the yard!
Oh they are beautiful Sara! Can’t wait to see what you do with them!
Swoon! Sadly I’ve blown my fabric allowance for this month but I’ll have to grab some of that TP grosgrain next month!!

Those are delish eye candy!
Oh beautiful!!
Renaissance Ribbons is one of my late-night browsing treats…oooo…look at the lovely ribbons…I am trying to persuade a friend in the USA to bring many ribbons over in his suitcase next time he visits.
That ribbon is delightful.
That pink octopus ribbon is AWESOME! I wish more designers did this!
