  1. This will be fun, I was going to make a purse for vacation, I guess I’ll have to wait a few weeks before I can make it! I’ll be going out of town July 12! LOL

  2. I have absolutely no desire to make a purse (just not my thing) but I cannot wait to see what everyone else makes. What a fun idea!

  3. Oh no — I love making purses and I love buying purse patterns. With all the reviews, I have a feeling June’s going to be hard on my wallet… :D I’m really excited for Purse Palooza!

  4. My gosh…..how to keep up on all this???
I have just about tired of little pouches, so it’s time to move up in size.
    This will be fun.

  5. I’m in! I have a project in mind – I bought the pattern a few months ago but have been a bit nervous about starting it as it features a technique I haven’t done a lot of – time to put on my big girl panties and GIT ‘R DONE!

  6. Just a quick query before I sign up – since i saw nothing to the contrary i am making the presumption that this is open to us international folk. Am i correct? Cheers, Karen

  7. Hi Sara, i can’t figure out for the life of me how to add your button to my blog! Any tips? Would be much appreciated, thanks! Sabs (sabinamoolla{at}hotmail.com)

  8. How did I not know about your blog or this Purse Palooza until today?! I love making bags. Check out my blog sewvery.blogspot.com to see some I’ve made. I’ll definitely be playing along. Thanks, and I can’t wait to be inspired by all the wonderful bags being reviewed.

  9. How do I get a button? I saw this in an earlier post. I’m new here but totally excited. I just opened a handmade boutique featuring handbags designed by me!! But I need help and hopefully this its it. Thanks Monica

  10. This looks like a lot of fun. I made two dresses from Kay Whitts “Fashion Formulas Dresses” and was just thinking a purse is what I need. Ok, count me in. I have to look for fabrics and peruse through Kays book “Sew Serendipity Bags” to find a nice summer purse. Oh-gooody!!! I just love sewing!!

  11. Day 2 of my Quilt-As-You-Go quilt block UFO bag. Using up stash fabric, batting and 2 blocks from an abandoned Block of the Month series. Should have followed a tutorial I found from one of the blog hop hosts this morning! Making it way harder for myself than it should have been :) Patterns are a wonderful thing. My next bag will follow one!!

  12. I’ve been following over the past month. Love the inspiration. I’ve made my purse and it is now in use. I just need to add it to the flicker group.
Thank you for your “All about interfacing” post, it was very helpful.

  13. I was married to a man for 20 years and with him for 27 years. We have 4 children together. we were high school sweethearts and grew up in the same town and we went to the same schools all our lives. Our relationship was always a struggle. I always felt like he really didn’t love me, almost as if he tolerated me. Our sex life was great when it happened. I felt used most of the time so when he would want to be intimate I was reluctant. He began sleeping on the couch 10 years ago and that was not good. Whenever a special occasion was at hand he would neglect to acknowledge me with a card or gift, when I would complain he would say “grow up we have 4 kids” that hurt. I tried so many things to fix him and change him but it just didn’t work. I threatened several times to eave and as usual nothing worked. His parents lived right beside us and they interfered way too much in our marriage. That of course caused alot of anger and resentment. There were times when I felt he may have had an affair but i never had any proof. As things got worse i got us into therapy but the therapist said in order for therapy to work you have to be open and accepting and willing to change, my husband wasn’t! we tried three different attempts and three different therapists and they all said the same thing. I started to see a therapist myself and she helped me a lot to better myself and go back to school. Everything got really bad and finally I called the mediator. We were in our 4th session with the mediator when my husband decided to tell me he was seeing someone else and that she made him happy and that he had moved on. He told me it was our family notary, she is 31. My husband and I are 44. At that point I decided to call a lawyer and file for divorce. I feel so empty, sad and alone. my kids are hurt as well. I am terrified and feel like my heart is shattered into pieces. I still love him and it hurts so much to know he is with someone else. I am feeling guilty now, I feel that maybe I didn’t try hard enough.before i contacted this spell caster who help me out in my problem now we are all happy together in happy family this is the email address doctorsunshinehope@yahoo.com he can also help you in your problem he is very good in power i did not believe him before until help me in my problem.
    my regard to you all.
