Today I wanted to tell you about some new fabrics designed by Pat Bravo for Art Gallery called Rhapsodia! As you can see, these are tropical fabrics in bright colors that are perfect for summer!
This is my favorite print from the collection…it is called Artisan Emerald. I would just love to make a breezy summer dress in this fabric!

You know I love a great bag, and you can see that my favorite print is made up in a fun summer bag! There are two things that I enjoy most about these fabrics…they have a soft and light hand, which makes them great not only for soft quilts and great bags (when paired with a great interfacing!), but they are perfect for clothing. Some quilt-weight fabrics are a little too stiff for some clothing that I make, but I can already tell that this would be perfect for a gathered skirt or dress!
The other thing I love about this line are the saturated colors. I am a bold person when it comes to using bright color combinations, and these are just right up my alley! In particular I would love to make a quilt with the green and blue color palette!
